Intex aqua y2 remote tecake

Indian electronics manufacturer, Intex today unveiled its new smartphone Intex Aqua Y2 Remote. Company claims that their new smartphone can be used to control TV, set-top boxes, DVD players and more with the help of built-in remote controller app and hardware. The device is equipped with an IR blaster, which is responsible for the infrared communication between the two devices.

The budget smartphone is labeled with a price tag of Rs. 4,390 and comes with a pre-installed ZaZa Remote app that enables its users to enter the model number for a particular device to offer the exact controls over it.

The controlling options will be displayed on a 4-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 800×480.

The Intex Aqua Y2 Remote is a 3G phone that runs on Android 4.4 KitKat supported by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor paired with a 512 MB of RAM. It is also featured with a 5 megapixel of primary image shooter coupled with a 2 megapixel of front facing camera. The smart remote control is powered with a 1500 mAh of battery.

For connectivity options, various features like Dual SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio are provided by the manufacturer.

A company’s spokesperson reported that the device is the first lowest budget smartphone running Android 4.4 KiKat. However, he didn’t share a word about the device’s availability, but reports state that the smartphone will be available anytime after this week.
