Intex Technologies today unveiled one more budget Intex Aqua Star II smartphone in its portfolio with a price tag of Rs. 5,999. The device is available in black, white blue and grey variants and is yet to go on sale.
One of the company’s spokesperson said that currently the company is manufacturing the handsets and soon will be shipped to local rock-and-mortar shops and e-commerce websites.
The dual SIM Intex Aqua Star II features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 480×854 pixels of resolution. It sports a 1.2GHz quad core processor supported by Spreadtrum SC7731 chipset. For flawless multitasking, Intex has housed 1GB of RAM in the device. In addition, the phablet offers 8 GB worth of internal storage that is available with an expandability option up to 32 GB via a microSD card.
The Android 4.4.2 KitKat running devices offers its users to capture high-quality images with its 8 megapixel primary camera. Meanwhile, it boasts a decent 5 megapixel of front facing camera that will help its users in taking selfies and juice for the performance comes from 2000 mAh battery.
Past this, the predecessor, Intex Aqua Star, was also launched in September last year. The Aqua Star was almost similar to the new II and had decent specifications under an affordable price bar.
In addition, Aqua Star L from Intex, was the first Indian smartphone to have Android 5.0 out of the box, and the company has promised to bring the Lolipop update for the Aqua Star II in next few months.
