The Chinese company, Huawei launched its Enjoy 6s smartphone in the home country with a price tag of CNY 1,599 (around Rs. 16,000) in Gold, Silver, and White colour variants. The company didn’t reveal its future plans to launch the smartphone globally.
The Huawei Enjoy 6s is an upgrade over the Huawei Enjoy 6, which was unveiled in October this year at CNY 1,299 (around Rs. 13,000). The handset comes with the design similar to its predecessor but offers some changes at the back panel. The Enjoy 6s sports metal body and comes with chamfered edges. It measures 7.6mm thin and supports dual-SIM functionality.
Coming to the specifications of the smartphone, the handset is fronted with a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS LCD display and a 5-megapixel front camera. While, it is backed with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture. The handset is fueled with a 3020mAh battery, under the hood.
Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Huawei’s Emotion UI 4.1, the Huawei Enjoy 6s is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM. And features 32GB of internal storage.
Apart from 4G LTE support, the dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone sports connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G and 4G. Onboard sensors on the phone include proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and gyroscope.
Besides, it is being reported that Huawei has started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for its One M9 and P9 smartphones.
