After the worldwide launch of Google HTC Nexus 9 32GB LTE, the device is now available for sale in India on Amazon.in at a price of Rs. 43,073. However, the other variant Google HTC Nexus 9 16GB WiFi has been listed with a price tag of Rs. 28,900.
The 32 GB variant comes with a nano-SIM card slot that supports 4G enabled SIM cards. However, it doesn’t allow its users to make a call with the device as it is only meant for mobile Internet data.
The tablet runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop powered by a 2.3GHz dual-core 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 Dual Denver processor coupled with a 192-core Kepler GPU chipset.
For multi-tasking needs of users, the manufacturer HTC has provided 2GB of RAM in the device. It is also featured with an 8.9 inch IPS, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display with QXGA (2048×1536).
The device sports 8 megapixel of primary camera paired with a 1.6 megapixel of front-facing camera. Nexus 9 was developed by HTC and unveiled globally by tech giant Google, along with the smartphone Google Nexus 6 that was manufactured by US-based Motorola in October, last year.
As the name describes, the tablet boasts 32 GB of internal storage, however, only 25 GB of it is available to the user and no storage expandability options are provided by the company.
Moreover, the device provides a decent battery backup as it is powered by 6,700 mAh of battery; company claims that the battery delivers video playback time and browsing time up to 9.5 hours and a standby time of 30 days. For connectivity options, the tablet supports 4G, 3G, 2G, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, microUSB slot with OTG support, as options.
As far entertainment is concerned, the device features dual front-facing speakers with HTC’s Boomsound. In addition, it also has two microphones, as the company reported that one microphone is for ordinary purposes, and the other one is for Noise cancelation.
