The smartphone maker, Coolpad has announced that the company has managed to sell 20,000 units of its Coolpad Note 3 handset in its second flash sale held today at 2:00 PM via Indian e-commerce giant, Amazon India. The company further revealed that they had a stock of 15K handsets for today’s flash sale got sold out in less than five minutes.
The sale was open only for the users, which had earlier registered to participate in the sale.
Last week during the first flash sale, the company has sold out 15,000 units of the smartphone in the meantime. The company said in a statement, “Maximum Coolpad Note 3 phones were purchased by Delhiites followed by consumers in Mumbai and Bangalore respectively. The first sale generated phenomenal response with selling of 15,000 units of Coolpad Note 3 in less than 5 minutes.”
The Coolpad Note 3 was introduced to the Indian smartphone market on October 9 with a price tag of Rs.8,999. It comes with a fingerprint sensor, 5.5 inch HD screen, 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, 3GB of RAM, and offers 16GB of inbuilt storage.
Coolpad Note 3 boasts a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and auto focus, while the 5-megapixel of front-facing camera is featured with selfie enhanced software. The manufacturer offers CMOS image sensor for better image quality with both of the front and rear cameras. The handset id fueled with a 3,000mAh of battery.
On connectivity front, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, 3G and GSM network frequencies along with a dual-SIM slot.
