The Bollywood actor Emraan Hasmi, known for his bold cinema and seductive characters, said, “Hamari Adhuri Kahani brought tears to my eyes.” Reportedly, the artist broke down when Mahesh Bhatt narrated him the Hamari Adhuri Kahani script, story there was tears in his eyes.
Previosly, he was spotted crying for the scripts of Saaransh and Zakhm. Most of the roles played by him are incorrigible rake. But it seems that “serial kisser” of the Bollywood is quite emotional person.
The Ghanchakkar star also believed that Hamari Adhuri Kahani will be his rebirth in Bollywood. In the movie, he is romances Vidya Balan. The couple has previously worked together in “Ghanchakkar” and “Dirty Picture”. Emraan reported that both of them desperately wanted to be a part of romantic movie, and here their dream comes true.
After doing a several of horror, thrilling and action genre, 36-years-old-actor is trying his luck in a romantic melodrama. In the film, he is neither a con-man nor a serial kisser. In fact, it is an effort to broaden his range, as an actor. Also, the luminary feels that he became more responsible and disciplined now. He wants to reflect his image by his cinema choices.
“It is not so much about getting away from what I have been doing. It has more to do with my concern and priority as an actor. I want to see myself doing something else. When you reach that point in your life, you want cinema to reflect that. It might be a lot of things in your life getting married, having kid, all these things bring about changes”, says Hashmi.
“This was the best way to do it. This is what I was looking for – a rebirth. What I have been doing has great I am thankful for these 12 years. But something also needed to be done because I have crossed that stage where I want to do something new,” the Cine artist further added.
