The long awaited movie has finally released that marked late Paul Walker’s last venture into the acting. It is a tribute to the late actor, who died, ironically in a car crash in 2013. It is also estimated to be the biggest cruiser of box office collection as it has already broken the records of The Amazing Spiderman’s first day collections, which by all means was the highest grossing Hollywood film in India up until now.
The story of the movie revolves around the revenge sought by Owen Shaw’s older brother, Deckard ShawAfter who wants to even his brother’s defeat. After defeating Owen and his crew, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) and the rest of the crew returned to the USA and were able to lead normal lives again. But then Deckard enters and challenges them.
The rest of the story is about the races and the usual fast and furious things and how the competition goes. Although the ending managed to leave the audience a bit tear-eyed and happy for Brian.
What worked for the movie was the fact that it was full action packed and not a single moment went by where the audience thought that they were getting bored, although one might add that it would have been a bit too fast to keep up. But then, that’s why it’s fast and furious.
The film was loaded with action and stunts that make your heart leap out of your mouth in excitement and thrill. The roles played by all the actors have been exceptionally well and then the scripting has been good too.
Well as for what didn’t work out for the film, we would say that it was a little bit of same old, same old Fast and Furious script with just a lot of juicy stunts and a little bit of changes here and there.
Along with that, we really hated the part where we had to bid farewell to Paul Walker, once and for all. May his soul rest in peace, for this, has benchmarked the end of the line for him. Even, his exit has been beautifully portrayed and in-line with what this film is about.
As for our final predicament, we’d say that even if you are not an action fan, we’d suggest you run to your nearest cinemas and grab a seat and watch this amazing and action-filled shot of ecstasy.
