Actor Salman Khan shot the sequence of the upcoming movie Bajrangi Bhaijan in several cities, the most crucial scene has been filmed in Kashmir within 45-days.
The climax of the action drama has been shot at the base of the Thajiwas glacier in Sonamarg, which is 10,000 ft above sea level. The 300-strong technical crew had to trek for an hour through snow every morning to reach the location. Added to this, were the 7,000 extras that we had on set every day.
It was a challenging task for the production team, “transporting team in buses and then embarking on the hour-long trek was a huge logistical challenge for the production to add their woes were the sub-zero temperatures, and hail storms that would interrupt the shoot”, says the director of the movie Kabir Khan.
The forthcoming melodrama in which its leading man Salman Khan is essaying the role of a Bajrangbali devotee is co-produced by Rockline Venkatesh, and will be distributed worldwide by Eros International.
Rockline Venkatish is popular producer from Karnataka who is joining hands for Hindi cinema with the Dabbangg Khan for the movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Regarding this he stated to media, “I would like to produce more films in Hindi, provided I get good scripts. It was filmmaker Vijayendra Prasad scripts that bowled over director Kabir khan, who eventually approached Mr. Khan for this project”.
On collaborating with the natural actor Salman Khan, the renowned Kannada producer says, the cineartist is one of the most down to earth person he has ever meets in his life.
Venkatish is keen to work with other popular Bollywood heroes too, if he gets right script. “You need good scripts to approached stars. I’d love to work with all popular heroes” he exclaimed. Currently, he is ready to team up with popular star director of the tinsel town Rohit Shetty for his next Bollywood project.
