Motorola moto X

A few days before Flipkart has launched Motorola’s Moto X 2nd Gen in India at a price of ₹ 32,999. For those who can’t afford such a price, Flipkart has slashed the price of Moto X (2013) that is available on the website at a price tag of ₹ 17,999 only, instead of its earlier amount of ₹ 23,999. All the variants of the device variants including black, white, premium teak or bamboo wood edition are available at no extra cost. The mid-end device in the series, Moto G is now available at ₹8,999 and ₹9,999 for 8 GB and 16 GB variants respectively.

However, the other options like blue, red, walnut and turquoise have been listed as out of stock. According to the online retail giant it would be the last sale for these first gen smartphones as they have already stopped importing new units of first gen devices.

Motorola Moto X is powered by .1.7 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 Pro (Part of X8 architecture) with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The device is also featured with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED, 720p HD display. Whereas, its second gen device boasts 2.5 Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974-AC, Quad Core processor with 5.2 inch OLED, 1080p HD display.

The major difference in Moto X first gen and second gen is in its camera as they have 10.0 MP and 13.0 MP of camera respectively. However, Motorola has confirmed that the handset will be upgraded to Android L, known as version 5.0 Lollipop. While there’s no exact date for the release, the wait isn’t likely going to be long given the company’s speed in releasing previous updates.

Previously, on the big Billion Day Flipkart sold the device at same price.
